I started this business because art has always been my way of finding calm. As a busy professional (engineer), my life is filled with deadlines, responsibilities and constant noise. Creating art became the one place where I could slow down, breathe and reconnect with myself. When I was younger, it was how I expressed feelings I could not share with anyone. It helped me feel understood in moments when words failed.
Over time, I drifted away from it without realising how much I needed it. Then I began the HICAT course, and it changed me. It reminded me of the joy, stillness and clarity that art had always given me. It encouraged me to pick up a brush or a crayon again and listen to the quiet inside me. That experience showed me how powerful creative expression can be, especially in a world where we are constantly chasing goals, juggling family and carrying responsibilities that leave little room for ourselves.
I realised that if art could help me reconnect in the middle of the chaos, it could help others too. I wanted to create a space where people could pause, reflect and rediscover parts of themselves they may have forgotten.
And that is why this business exists, to offer moments of calm, connection and gentle self discovery......Because creativity lives within you.
