Hello, I am Akshaya Anandan. I am the founder and facilitator of Whispering Ferns Institute. My journey into Holistic Integrated Creative Arts Therapy (HICAT) began from a simple desire to slow down and reconnect with what truly matters. In today’s busy digital world, it is easy to get caught in constant motion, rushing from one responsibility to the next with little time to pause or breathe.
For me, art became that pause.
It offered a moment of stillness in the noise, a gentle way to express what words could not, and a path to find balance in the middle of everyday chaos. Through colours, textures, and creative exploration, I began to uncover a deeper sense of calm and self-understanding.
Over time, I realised that this quiet connection through art was something I wanted to share with others. At Whispering Ferns Institute, I create a nurturing space where people can explore creativity, mindfulness, and healing at their own pace. My approach is gentle, supportive, and grounded in the belief that growth happens naturally when we feel safe, seen, and inspired.
